The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982)

Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour absolutely nail this classic perfectly. I was laughing out loud at how Andrews was playing the character of Sir Percy. I am going to read the book now and I think this is the show I am going to audition for in 2012.

I have seen this film many times and have enjoyed it. The books are fun to read, but do not expect them to be more than an easy and simplistic read. I so badly wanted them to be like The Count of Monte Cristo, or the Three Musketeers.

Whenever I hear a song from the Scarlete Pimpernel on Show Tunes Saturday Night, I change the channel; I cannot stand that musical...sorry.

You should try out for Noises Off; that is a good movie and show.

Noises off already had their auditions, it was right after my last play. I have never heard the music for Scarlet Pimpernel, that is too bad it stinks. I just checked the book out from the library. I just added a Robert Duvall movie to my instant Queue it is called the apostle. I know you like him.
